One-Day STEM Workshop: VR Coding, AI & Electronics
Give your students an exciting introduction to the future of technology with our engaging one-day STEM workshop. Designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, this hands-on experience combines Virtual Reality (VR), Coding, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Electronics in a fun and accessible way.
VR Coding & Artificial Intelligence
During the workshop, children will be introduced to key coding concepts and terminology while developing essential computational thinking and problem-solving skills. Using immersive virtual reality technology, students will explore how coding is used to solve real-world challenges.
As part of their learning, children will discover the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, gaining an understanding of how intelligent systems learn and make decisions. They will then put their skills into practice by programming and operating an underwater coral reef cleaning vehicle, working through challenges that encourage logical thinking, teamwork, and creativity.
Electronics & Science
Students who take part in the electronics session will explore the principles of electrical circuits through practical, hands-on activities. They will learn about circuit components, how circuits work, and the meaning of common circuit symbols, supporting key areas of the Science National Curriculum.
Through building and testing their own circuits, children will develop a deeper understanding of electronics while enhancing their investigative and problem-solving skills.
Brand-New AI & Robotics: Build & Code Your Own Robot
Our exciting new AI and Robotics experience is designed especially for children in School Years 5–8, giving pupils the opportunity to become real robot engineers and programmers. Students will build and code their very own working robot from the ground up, developing practical skills in robotics, programming, problem-solving, and computational thinking.
Once their robots are built, the real challenge begins! Students will program their robots to drive, respond to instructions, and complete a series of exciting challenges. These could include navigating a maze, completing an obstacle course, racing against other robots, or even designing and programming a robot to perform its own dance routine.
This hands-on experience encourages pupils to experiment, test, troubleshoot, and improve their designs as they work towards completing each challenge. It combines coding, engineering and creativity in an exciting, practical learning experience that shows students how technology can be used to create real-world robotic systems.
As a brand-new addition to our 2026 workshop programme, this action-packed robotics experience is perfect for pupils who love technology, building and problem-solving — and is designed to inspire the next generation of engineers, programmers and innovators.
